'General' Tab
With the exception of the 'International access' area and 'Area code' the different parameters of this tab have their own different stations in the context of use in client/server mode.

Communication
You must adjust the relative composition of telephone numbers.
Modem port: communication port where your modem or communication card is connected.
Initialisation string: Hayes command allows the initialisation of your modem. This information is only necessary if you have problems dialling telephone numbers.
Consult the documentation of your modem to know its initialisation string (for example AT&F1).
Outgoing prefix: For calls made from an interior telephone, a prefix is specified to obtain an outside line. (generally it is a 0).
International access: Numeric sequence to obtain communication out of your national territory (generally 00).
Area code: Indicates the area to be called. This code is not used for calls within the same area.
Hands free mode: If you have a voice modem, you can connect directly by plugging in a microphone or headphones.
This allows you to telephone in 'hands free' mode. If this is not the case, you need to pick up the receive after dialling the telephone N° (the modem must be plugged into the same line as your telephone).
Automatic dialling: In the case of a telemarketing study, automatically dial the N° of the contact record to call.
Note: only the operators with administrators status can modify the information for 'International access' and 'area code' common to the group of stations when client/server mode is in use.

Users country
This information permits, during the creation of a new record on the Contact file, the formatting by default the fields 'phone' and 'fax' according to those you have defined for your user country. You can only do this here if the latter already exists in the Countries file.

Cities
Treatment of doubloons on import city

This option allows to activate or to deactivate, the treatment of doubloons during the import of information stemming from an external source.
By default, this option is not activated and thus permits the cohabitation of several records with an identical postal code and a different town (management of different communes with the same distributing office).
Copy the value of the field '[Cities] Affectation' to the field
You can define from this list the field of record ' Contact ' beneficiary of this information.

Any record 'Contact ' will be automatically enriched by this information in the field targeted according to its city of ratttachement.
Examples: you can allocate to this field the region, the province...
Note : If you are using the Data Exchange command between several sites this information is sent to the distant site.

'Agenda' Tab
Time periods
By default you can define the time periods of the agenda.
Purge delay
This automates the deletion of passed events in function with a specified value (60 day default).

Notes :
.If you are using the Data Exchange command between several sites this information is sent to the distant site.
.No modification is possible, if in this mode you are not notified as being the main site.
Indeed only this last one can, in that case, create, modify or still delete commercials.
Not worked days...
This zone allows to define days relative to the W.E. (Saturday/Sunday, Sunday/Monday or still quite other combination) as well as the holidays.
These last ones are to edit in the zone foreseen for that purpose under the shape MM/DD.
Exemple : 05/08 for the 8 of May
