This search is uniquely based on the indexed fields of the current table and the Tables in relation of the 1st level.
The search principals are dealt with in the paragraph 'General points on the search'
The execution time varies depending on the field which is carrying out the search.

Moreover and at the same time, this dialogue allows for the sorting (options area), the selection obtained by one of the fields of your choice (by default, the object field of the search is proposed).
A search in an alphanumeric-type field is always standard 'start by…..
The command modifies the current selection.
