This command allows for the export of information in text format (ascii) with a view to the exploitation of the data from other software (word processor, spread sheet,…).
Note : This command is only active on the list format.
You can export a field selection for:
| · | The current table
|
| · | The tables in relation of 1 to 1 to 1 with the current table.

Certain characteristics of this dialogue are brought up in the paragraph "Introduction of Standard Dialogue".
Options
The default separators are as follows:
| - | fields : code ascii 9 (tabulation)
|
| - | records : code ascii 13 (return)
|

If you want to replace the default field separator by a semi-colon you must enter 59, (code ascii corresponding to ;), in the area 'separators' relative to the fields.
To obtain the correspondence codes ASCII refer to the end section of Tables of ascii codes.
By default, the extension (or type of document) of the exportation file corresponds to text format.
Saving opening a format
If your export format is liable to be used frequently, it is advised to memorise and store the structure with the help of the 'Save' button.
If your document is placed in the 'Export' file it will be automatically integrated in the list 'Open…'
Note : only the structure of your export format is recorded and not the records constituent of the selection.
